Effortless Expansion Episode #045: Clearing Codes That Don't Serve You

Let’s talk about codes.

Emotional codes.

In a nutshell, we carry codes in our bodies that activate our emotions and memories.

For example, if I asked you to think about the smell of fresh-cut grass, you’ll likely be able to “smell” it on command. This is a code. It may also bring up feelings of nostalgia or happiness if it's associated with pleasant memories from you childhood or a particular time in their life.

We all have codes.

Emotional codes are powerful and can shape how we perceive the world around us. They can be programmed in by past experiences, often leading us to respond in ways that may not be appropriate for the current situation. For instance, if we were hurt in the past by someone we trusted, we may find it difficult to trust others in the future, even when they haven't done anything wrong. These emotional codes can cause our body to react in fight or flight mode, which can be damaging to our relationships and overall well-being.

Understanding how emotional codes work and identifying them can help us overcome them, enabling us to live happier and more fulfilling lives.

Our ability to tap into these memories and emotions is a powerful tool that can help us in our personal and professional lives.

If we let codes that do not serve us run the show, they can work against our soul’s desires. I talk all about how to clear them in this episode.

By understanding our emotional codes and how they influence us, we can learn to manage our emotions more effectively, make better decisions, and create more positive experiences in our lives.

One way to tap into your emotional codes is to become more aware of your senses. Take a moment to close your eyes and focus on your breathing. What do you smell? What do you hear? What do you feel? Pay attention to the sensations in your body and the emotions that arise.

You can also use visualization techniques to tap into your emotional codes. Imagine yourself in a peaceful setting, like a beach or a mountain top. What do you see? What do you smell? What do you feel? Try to make the visualization as vivid and detailed as possible to activate your emotional codes.

Another way to work with your emotional codes is to identify triggers that activate certain emotions or memories. For example, if you feel anxious when you're in a particular situation, like public speaking, try to identify what triggers that anxiety. Is it the fear of being judged or criticized? Once you've identified the trigger, you can work on changing your response to it.

Finally, it's important to remember that our emotional codes are not fixed. We can change our emotional responses by creating new associations and memories. For example, if you associate public speaking with anxiety, try to create positive experiences by practicing in a safe environment or seeking out supportive feedback.

Listen mama, what I'm saying is that emotional codes are a powerful tool that can help us manage our emotions, make better decisions, and create more positive experiences in our lives. By becoming more aware of our senses, identifying triggers, and creating new associations, we can tap into our emotional codes and live a more fulfilling life.

You know that I truly believe that we get to have anything and everything our heart desires.
