This is a vulnerable episode for me. I want to share with you the recent twists and turns that have taken me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, expansion, and ultimately, the power of trust and surrender.

The first bombshell came when my husband informed me that he was no longer working for the health system he had been a part of. The news caught us off guard and left us questioning the future. We had built our dream home here in Michigan, envisioning it as the perfect place to raise our children, surrounded by the support of my parents, who moved into a home right down the road. It felt like a magical bubble of happiness.

This sudden change was shocking but we realized it opened up a ton of opportunities for expansion. We found ourselves standing at a crossroads, contemplating whether to stay in the dream home we built or seek new horizons. The possibilities seemed endless, but the decision weighed heavy on our hearts.

It was time to explore every avenue, leaving no stone unturned.

In the midst of the unknown, my husband and I used this as an opportunity to have some really deep conversations. We talked about our desires and visions for our family's future. I’ve been asking for expansion, but I never saw it coming like this!

Florida has always tugged at my heartstrings, and it was a lifelong dream to have a home there. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that earlier this year we made that dream a reality.

Now what?
Should we consider moving there full-time?
Should we look at different locations?
Could we stay in Michigan?
Would our parents be willing to relocate too?

Logistics aside, this situation gave me an incredible pulse check on my former control freak tendencies. Let me just say, that this has not been easy on me. I’ve experienced the entire spectrum of emotions beginning with fear and anger to the power of trust and surrender.

One thing is for sure, we have learned that no matter how uncertain things may appear, deep down, we have a core belief that everything will be okay. It's about embracing the present moment, releasing our grip on control, and having faith that the universe has a plan for us, even if it's yet to be fully revealed.

Why am I sharing this with you?

Because I firmly believe in being an example—a guiding light—for others.

When life throws you a curveball, you have a choice.

You can push, force, and exert control, or you can choose to lean deeper into trust, surrender, and faith.

Reflecting on my past experiences, I can confidently say that the universe has alwayyyys had my back, even when it's hard to see in the moment.

I've been through some hard things, but each time, things have worked out for my highest good.

Always in all ways.
