Effortless Expansion Episode #051: EFT Tapping For Feeling Safe With Money

EFT Tapping For Feeling Safe With Money

Before you begin:

Write down how you currently feel about money, rate the intensity, and then how you want to feel about money. 

In this example, I’m using that I currently feel nervous and pressure around the topic of money and want to feel safe around it.

Round 1: Identify The Fear

Karate Chop (only for the first round)

Even though I feel so nervous about how I will feel safe with money, I deeply, completely love and accept myself, even though I feel incredibly silly talking, wanting money right now.

I deeply and completely love and accept myself even though I don't have any idea how to feel safe with money. I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Eyebrow:

I don't feel safe having money

Side of Eye:

I have so many feelings around money.

Under Eye:

I feel so unsafe in my body. Even thinking about money

Under Nose:

How will I ever feel safe around money?

Chin:

What will people think of me?

Collarbone:

How can I be safe with money when it's never shown up for me before?

Top of Head:

I feel angry that some people attract money easily.

Round 2: Get To The Root

Eyebrow:

I know where these feelings come from.

Side of Eye:

I feel so many feelings.

Under Eye:

I’m angry I've spent so much time feeling this way. 

Under Nose:

I feel anxiety and anger for wasting time.

Chin:

I can feel anger throughout my body

Collarbone:

I don't like feeling this way.

Under Arm:

I don't feel safe.

Top of head:

I don’t like this anger.

Round 3: Exploring Your Feelings

Eyebrow:

Ignoring my feelings is no longer healthy to me. 

Side of Eye:

There's this heaviness in my chest, all from anxiety.

Under Eye:

No matter how much I heal, money never feels safe.  

Under Nose:

No matter how much I heal, money never feels safe.  

Chin:

No matter how much better I feel, money never feels good. 

Collarbone:

No matter how much I heal, having money never feels safe. 

Under Arm:

All this fear, all of this anxiety is not serving me.

Top of Head:

All of this anxiety is not serving me.

Round 4: Address The Emotions

Eyebrow:

I can feel it in my chest.

Side of Eye:

All of this fear.

Under Eye:

All of this anger.

Under Nose:

It's so easy for others. 

Chin:

Why is it so hard?

Collarbone:

Why is it so hard for me?

Under Arm:

I want to release this anxiety.

Top of Head:

I wanna release this anger and fear.

Round 5: Feeling The Feelings

Eyebrow:

I'm ready to feel all the feelings.

Side of Eye:

I am ready to also clear them.

Under Eye:

All of this anxiety.

Under Nose:

All this pressure.

Chin:

All this fear.

Collarbone:

All these feelings.

Under Arm:

I choose to feel it.

Top of Head:

And I choose to release it. 

Round 6: Becoming The Change

Eyebrow:

Instead of sitting in this anxiety, fear, and pressure, 

Side of Eye:

No matter how much I work myself up,

Under Eye:

I know I am safe to feel.

Under Nose:

All this pressure.

Chin:

I am safe to choose differently.

Collarbone:

I know that I'm doing the best that I can at all times.

Under Arm:

I also know that I'm safe. 

Top of Head:

And I'm willing to release, choose differently, and stay in the place of knowing I'm safe.

After you finish:

Now take a deep breath in and go back to the feeling that you had about money at the beginning. And rate it again.

Keep repeating the process until it gets to a 1 or below.
